Add your records at Squarespace Domains

Domains registered with Squarespace, including former Google Domains.

Add the records

  1. In the Domains dashboard, select the domain, then DNS and DNS Settings.
  2. Under Custom Records, select Add record and choose the type.
  3. Enter the host and value from your domain's page, using @ for the domain itself. The MX record has its own Priority and Mail Server fields. Save each record.
Enter TXT values without quotes. If Google Workspace, Titan or Zoho records or email forwarding are set up, Squarespace says there's a conflicting DNS record: choose Replace record, or delete the forwarding rule under Manage rules. Mail to your old provider stops once its MX records are gone.
