Add your records at Another registrar
The same steps work almost everywhere.
Add the records
- Sign in where your domain's DNS is run. That's your registrar, unless you moved the nameservers somewhere else, such as Cloudflare.
- Open the DNS records. They may be called DNS zone, DNS management or DNS settings.
- Delete the MX records of your old mail service, and turn off the registrar's own email or email forwarding if it has one.
- Add each record from your domain's page, copying the name and value exactly. Use @ for the domain itself, or leave the name empty if @ isn't accepted. Give the MX record priority 10.
- Back on your domain's page, select Check again.
Most panels add your domain to the name by themselves, so enter _dmarc, not _dmarc.example.com. Enter TXT values without quotes. Some panels want a dot after server names, such as mx1.postpike.net., and add your own domain without it. If a long DKIM value is refused, look for a text mode or a DKIM record type. Changes can take a while to show.
