Set up Gmail app
The Gmail app on Android, iPhone and iPad.
If the app asks for settings, these are the same for every PostPike mailbox. The username is your full email address.
Incoming server (IMAP)
imap.postpike.netPort
993Outgoing server (SMTP)
smtp.postpike.netPort
465Security is SSL/TLS for both. The password is your mailbox password, or an app password if you turned on two-step sign-in.
On Android
- In the Gmail app, tap your profile picture in the search bar.
- Tap Add another account, then Other.
- Enter your full email address and tap Next.
- Choose Personal (IMAP), enter your password and tap Next.
- Enter the server settings above and follow the prompts.
On iPhone or iPad
- In the Gmail app, tap your profile picture in the search bar.
- Tap Add another account, then Other (IMAP).
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
- Enter the server settings above.
If the app warns that email security isn't guaranteed, don't choose security type None: that would send your password unprotected. Check the server names and ports instead.
Gmail in a browser
- Open your mail in the PostPike web app instead. Google no longer lets new users add other accounts to Gmail on the web, and ends it for everyone in January 2027, including sending as another address.
From Google: add other email accounts to the Gmail app, Google: check mail from other accounts, Google: changes to Gmailify and POP. Menus change: if something here doesn't match what you see, tell us.
